The floatation tanks used by Extradimension were first developed in the 1950s. Resembling a miniature fiberglass submarine, they contain a 25cm deep solution of water and Epsom salts of sufficient concentration that perfect buoyancy is achieved. The sensation is like floating in outer space! A typical floatation session lasts 50 minutes, usually in perfect silence, during which time you lose track of all bodily sensation and achieve perfect relaxation.
